These photos and video of yesterday's Killer Kona wind action at Lanes, Maui, are going to be all over the web today. Looks like super-strong Swifty was ruling by muscling it through in the fluky, gusty conditions.
Makani says there's more good footage to come so be sure to check back in at the Maui Windsurfing Blog.
Obviously GP was all over the North Shore to report on that action for you too. (You can watch him film 'Cisco Goya go on the rocks too..) I'm sure he'll chip in with part 2 ASAP.
Here's KP's take on the day. Tatiana Howard also joined the excited crowds there to see the spectacle.
Plus there's more coverage expected. A much nicer way to be in the water than everyone who had a miraculous escape in that plane in New York...what a great pilot. I wonder if any boards were on-board?
What's good for some is bad for others and it looks like the Tow Surf Pro Tour's bummed about those Kona winds at JAWS/Peahi
The Loft Sails have relaunched their website.
What would you do if one of these cruised past you in the water?
More Later.
