It's great to see so many contests being confirmed for 2009. A really positive sign in fact.

The latest event getting the green light is The 2009 South American Championships confirmed for March 20th to March 23rd in Potrerillos, Mendoza, Argentina. 

This festival event will decide the continental champions for 3 classes : Formula, Raceboard, and Techno 293. You can find out more at www.amwindsurf.com.ar

France is also lucky to have a Speed event confirmed too. (French).

I loved your idea about windsurfing companies specifically Gaastra donating a portion of sales to Surfrider Foundation to help keep the ocean clean, open and give back to mother nature for all the fantastic wind she sends us.

I think you should put up a poll asking would you support a sail/board company who donates to Surfrider or a like organization. They we can get the results to the PWA or windsurf companies. If we don't ask the companies to donate or show an economic advantage they won't.
